Dr. Shampa Dev is Professor and Programme Coordinator at the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, with over two decades of experience in legal education and academic leadership. Trained in jurisprudence, legal philosophy, research methods, and rights-based discourses, she is known for a seminar-driven, learner-centred pedagogy that encourages critical reading, reflective reasoning, and ethical engagement with law in a social context. Her teaching bridges theory and practice, inviting students to interrogate legal texts alongside lived realities. She has designed and anchored the flagship course “Critical Thinking, Reading, and Writing in Law”, widely appreciated for strengthening students’ reasoning and argumentation skills. Dr. Dev has also led faculty consultancy and training in Outcome-Based Legal Education, assessment alignment, and digital pedagogy, and has developed online learning modules on the Right to Information and gender sensitisation. Her scholarship engages contemporary debates at the intersection of law, social justice, philosophy, and technology, with publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. International academic engagements across Europe, Africa, and Asia inform her globally grounded, locally responsive approach to curriculum design. Building on this foundation, she is developing a SWAYAM course on Critical Thinking that treats reasoning as a learnable, systematic skill essential for legal and civic life.

Dr. Shilpa M.L. has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Law, Christ University, since 2019. She has been teaching for 13 years in UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses. She has completed her B.A.L., LL.B., from Sri Jagadguru Renukacharya College of Law in 2010. She obtained the LL.M. degree with First Class in Criminal Law from the Department of Studies in Law, University Law College, Bangalore University, Bangalore, in 2013. She did her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) on the topic titled “ Legal Regulation of Public Utility Services in India – A Study with Special Reference to Telephone Services” in the Department of Studies in Law, University Law College, Bangalore, in 2019. She has served as a Faculty member at Sri Jagadguru Renukacharya College of Law and University Law College. She has participated in and presented various research papers at international, National, and state-level seminars, conferences,/Workshops. She has published several articles in Scopus, UGC-Care Listed Journals, and other Social Science journals. She has been invited as a Resource Person for Academic Programmes. She has delivered many invited talks and special lectures on various law-related issues, including Human Rights, Women's Rights, Property Law, Media Law, Consumer Rights, and Environmental Law. She has been a Research Supervisor for LL.M., Dissertation, and Ph.D. students. Research Scholars. She is also the Co-ordinator of the Advanced Criminal Law Committee at the School of Law, Christ University.

Dr. Sherin Priyan is an Assistant Professor at SLS Hyderabad who earned her Ph.D. at the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where her research focused on developing a policy framework for Patent Pools and studying the interface between Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law. She is a UGC-JRF awardee and holds a B.Sc. L.L.B (Hons.) from Gujarat National Law University and an LL.M. from IIT Kharagpur. Her academic interests lie in Technology Law, IP, and Legal Regulation of Emerging Technologies. She has published her papers in SCOPUS-indexed journals and presented research papers at prestigious international conferences, including IPIRA (Singapore) and PICMET (USA).

Dr. Renuka S. Gubbewad is a distinguished academic and legal expert with a focus on mercantile law, human rights, and Kannada Vachana philosophy. She completed her BSc from P.C. Jabin Science College, Hubballi, Karnataka, in 1997, and her LLB from Karnataka University, Dharwad, in 2000. She earned her LLM in 2004 and M.Phil. in 2008 from Gulbarga University, Karnataka, and completed her PhD in 2017, concentrating on human rights and Vachana literature at the same university. Since 2022, she is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law at the Central University of Karnataka. Before that, she worked as an Assistant Professor at HKE Society's SSL Law College, Kalaburagi, from 2008 to 2019, and Vice-Principal from 2019 to 2022 at the same Institute. Dr. Gubbewad has authored over 10 publications, including notable chapters such as "The Role of Judiciary in Eradication of Child Labour in India" and "Empowerment of Women for Changing Gender Roles." Her research emphasizes legal issues affecting children and women, integrating insights from Kannada Vachana literature to address contemporary societal challenges. Beyond her research, she has held several administrative roles, including serving as Coordinator of the NAAC and IQAC, during which she successfully secured a B+ grade for her institution. Dr. Renuka Gubbewad has also contributed to the educational community as a resource person for orientation programs conducted by the Karnataka state government and for various training initiatives in agriculture and cultural development. She had worked as Guest Faculty at the Police Training Institute, Naganahalli, Kalaburagi. Her commitment to enhancing Legal education, protecting against Gender discrimination, and promoting human rights is evident in her diverse contributions to academia and society. Currently, two doctoral candidates are conducting their research under her guidance.

Dr. Hema K is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, where she teaches Intellectual Property Laws and Competition Law. She holds a PhD in Intellectual Property Law from National Law University, Jodhpur, where her doctoral research critically examined the protection of fashion designs under Indian IP laws. With over six years of teaching experience, Dr. Hema employs innovative pedagogical approaches, such as the Socratic Method, Problem-Based Learning, and Gamification, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. She is actively involved in institutional development as a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Curriculum Development Cell (CDC), contributing to academic planning, curriculum design, and faculty development initiatives. Dr. Hema is deeply interested in pursuing advanced research in Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law. She has published research articles in Scopus-indexed journals in both areas, reflecting her strong commitment to scholarly excellence and contemporary legal discourse.

Dr. Abhishek Dixit is currently serving as a faculty member at the University of Delhi, an Institution of Eminence. He was previously a founding faculty member and Assistant Professor at the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science, Lucknow, established under the aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Over the course of his academic career, he has taught at four universities, including Dr. Hari Singh Gour Central University, Sagar. Dr. Dixit has been instrumental in designing and conducting police training programmes at UPSIFS and has delivered expert talks to officials of the Legislative Assembly on legislative drafting in India. His academic journey also includes international exposure through his association with the United Nations Human Rights Commission, Geneva, Switzerland. He is an active member of the International Law Association, London. A Gold Medallist from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Dr. Dixit has been an active member of legal committees and has led and participated in numerous legal aid initiatives across institutions. His research interests lie in jurisprudence, constitutional law, and the interface between law and forensic science.

She did her Ph.D. in Human Rights from M.G.Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. Master of Laws from P.G. Department of Law, Gauhati University, Assam. Before joining Nagaland University, Dr. Rumi was associated with Assam University, Silchar ( a central university) for twelve years. She has extensive teaching and research experience in the field of Law. She has published her research work in leading international and national journals. She has also attended and presented papers in many National and International Seminars and Conferences. She has also conducted webinars on major legal issues. She has authored two edited books, “Contemporary Issues on Corporate Laws and Human Rights” and “Significant” (Multi-disciplinary Journal). Her specialization is in Constitutional Law and Administrative Law. Her area of research is Human Rights.

Sandeep Kindo, Ph.D., is a professor and founding faculty member of O.P. Jindal Global University, teaches primarily in the law school, and has taught in the languages and literature school. His research expertise is in custom, property, and the recognition of Indigenous identity in twentieth-century India. As a public scholar, Dr. Kindo offers expert input to various international organizations, including shadow reports to the United Nations. His recent articles include “Continuing Custom: Indigenous Inheritance in the Indian Supreme Court’s Kishwar v Bihar Dissent,” Australian Journal of Asian Law, Vol. 25, No. 1, Article 02: 23-37, 2024. Dr. Kindo earned advanced law degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in South Asian humanities from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has received various awards, such as the Ford Foundation International Fellowship, the Franklin Family Fellowship at Stanford University, and the Chancellor's Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

He did his Ph.D. in Intellectual Property Rights from the Faculty of Law, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi., Master of Laws from the Department of Law, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar (Central) University, Lucknow. He has completed his BA.LLB (Hons.) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. He also qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET) from UGC. Before joining Nagaland University. Dr. Rishikesh was an Assistant Professor at the Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, Greater Noida, U.P., for three years prior to joining Sharda University. He was also associated with Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, for a period of two years. He has more than 7 years of experience in teaching and research. His teaching and research interests include Intellectual Property Rights, Environmental Law, Human Rights, Constitutional Law, and Law of torts. He has presented more than sixty (60) research papers in various National and International Conferences. He has published more than twenty (20) research papers in UGC care-listed Journals and peer-reviewed Journals. Rishikesh also published eighty-eight (18) chapters in edited books, which were published by National & International publishers. He is the authored of two Edited book on “Contemporary issues on Corporate Laws and Human Rights”, published by Global Publishing House India, New Delhi, (2024) India and another “Negative Emission and Climate Change: Sustainable Way Forward”, published by Bharti Publications., New Delhi-India (2022) and also author one book the titled “The Effect of Intellectual Property Rights and Conservation on Biodiversity Law in India”, Published by: ASSOCIATED Publishing House, Sanjay Place, Agra- India (2023).
